DailyKeep is designed with a **privacy-first approach**. The application provides its core utilities without requiring you to register, sign up, or create an online account.

Depending on the tools and features you choose to use, you may voluntarily enter information such as:

All personal data, financial entries, lists, and dates entered into DailyKeep are **stored locally on your device** using an encrypted local database.
– We **do not** upload, sync, or transmit your personal financial records or reminders to our servers.
– We do not have access to your personal financial records, debts, or lists.
– Because your data remains exclusively on your device, we cannot recover locally stored information if your device is lost or if the app data is erased.

DailyKeep includes optional in-app features to **”Send Feedback”** or **”Suggest a Tool”**. If you voluntarily choose to submit feedback or report an issue, the app securely transmits the following information over HTTPS:
– Your feedback category and message text
– Extra tool details (if submitting a tool suggestion)
– Basic non-personal technical diagnostics: App version, Android OS version, and device manufacturer/model
– Timestamp

This information is processed exclusively to investigate bugs, improve app functionality, and respond to user suggestions. We do not sell, rent, or use this feedback data for marketing purposes.

## 4. Android Device Permissions

DailyKeep requests only the system permissions necessary to provide its local utilities:

– **Notifications (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`):** Used on Android 13 (API 33) and above to display local alerts for scheduled payment reminders, subscriptions, and document expiration dates.
– **Exact Alarms (`SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM`):** Used to trigger time-sensitive reminders at the exact date and time specified by you (e.g., bill payment due alerts).
– **Run at Startup (`RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED`):** Used exclusively to reschedule your active local alarms and reminders automatically if your device restarts or reboots.
– **Internet (`INTERNET`):** Used solely to transmit user-initiated feedback or tool suggestions to our secure developer inbox.

DailyKeep **does not** request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photo gallery, or GPS location.

## 5. Financial Disclaimer & Security

– **No Banking Credentials:** DailyKeep is a personal organizer and calculation utility. It **never** requests, collects, or stores bank login credentials, credit card numbers, CVVs, or online banking passwords.
– **Estimates Only:** Financial calculations, loan amortization, and affordability evaluations are estimates based entirely on your own inputs and do not constitute certified legal or financial advice.

## 6. Data Deletion and User Control (Your Choices)

You maintain complete ownership and control over your data:
– **Instant In-App Data Wipe:** You can permanently delete all transactions, goals, debts, reminders, and lists at any time by navigating to **Settings > Clear All Data** within the App.
– **Device Management:** You can clear all data through your device’s system settings (**Settings > Apps > DailyKeep > Storage > Clear Data**) or by uninstalling the application.
– **Permission Control:** You can enable or disable notifications and exact alarm permissions at any time through your Android system settings.

## 7. Advertising & Monetization

Version 1.0 of DailyKeep does not display third-party advertisements.

In future updates, DailyKeep may introduce non-intrusive advertisements (such as Google AdMob) to support continuous development. If and when advertising is enabled:
– Third-party ad networks may collect standard advertising identifiers and diagnostic device data subject to their respective privacy policies.
– Ad placements will never interrupt active calculations, critical typing flows, or access your local financial entries.
– We do not sell your personal information to third-party advertisers.

The App uses vetted, industry-standard Android libraries (such as Android Jetpack, Room Database, and OkHttp) to perform local operations.
